Please support our cookie-dough fundraiser...psst this is the final week.
Parents... there was change of plans...
your student received homework tonight.
Math: Module one lesson one. If you would like to see what they were taught visit the Engage Link on the tab in this blog.
This week we are still getting to know each other and developing procedures. Your student is learning how to use AVID strategies along the way. We are preparing for a year full of teaching, but more importantly learning. This week we are taking inventories and assessments to get a baseline measure of your scholar's areas of strengths and weaknesses. Those assessments include MAP, which will be administered Wednesday-Friday.
Homework, agenda signing and reading logs will be sent home this week to develop procedures and routines. Your student received a binder today, so if you did not purchase one, no worries. However, I am requesting that if you have folders and spiral notebooks at home that you can send them. They are apart of the organizational system that we will use to prepare our students for 21st century learning.
Hello Parents, Your student came home with their blue communication folder yesterday. There are forms inside that you need to sign. If you need to sign them, the blue folder went home again today. The forms that need to signed are school wide procedures and parents visiting the classroom. Also, today your child received their cookie dough kickoff fundraiser. Have a Great weekend. Mrs. Jones
